Traffic & Publisher Policy
The rules every publisher and traffic partner follows. Violations are invalid and unpaid.
Purpose
This policy protects consumers, buyers and honest publishers. It is incorporated into every publisher agreement. If this policy and a signed agreement conflict, the stricter rule applies.
Approved sources (with pre-approval)
- Paid search on Google and Microsoft Advertising, following platform policies
- SEO and content sites with accurate service information
- Maps and directory listings you own or are authorized to manage
- Native, display and social placements with pre-approved creative
Prohibited traffic
- AI- or bot-generated calls, synthetic voices, automated dialing, or any call not placed by a real consumer seeking service
- Incentivized, rewarded or paid-to-call traffic
- Cold calling, robocalls, prerecorded messages, or transfers without valid prior express written consent where required
- Impersonating a brand, franchise, utility, insurer or government agency
- False or misleading claims ("free" services, guaranteed insurance payouts, government programs)
- Call padding, repeat-caller loops, call-forwarding manipulation or number spoofing
- Traffic from outside the United States unless approved in writing
- Unapproved sub-publishers
Creative and landing pages
All consumer-facing copy must accurately describe the service, disclose that callers may be connected to an independent provider where appropriate, and be approved in advance. Material changes need re-approval.
Consent records
Where any traffic involves a web form, the form must display clear consent language naming the seller, and publishers must retain time-stamped consent records (for example, third-party certificates) and provide them on request.
Monitoring and audits
We monitor call patterns, review recordings and may request source-level data, screenshots and consent records at any time. Publishers must cooperate promptly.
Consequences
- Invalid calls are unpaid and may be clawed back after payment
- Traffic may be paused immediately pending review
- Serious or repeated violations result in termination and forfeiture of unpaid amounts as provided in the agreement
