Call quality
How bots, fraud and junk calls stay off your bill
People review partners, calls are screened live, recordings are checked, and invalid calls are credited.
Process
Four layers of quality control
- 1
Before traffic runs
Publishers are reviewed by a person: sources, creative, landing pages and history.
- 2
As calls arrive
Repeat callers, blocked numbers, out-of-area and after-hours calls are screened before they connect.
- 3
After the call
Recordings and patterns are reviewed. Spikes, short-call clusters or repeat devices trigger a look.
- 4
When something's wrong
Invalid calls are credited to contractors and unpaid to publishers. Repeat offenders are removed.
Invalid calls
What isn't billed
| Invalid call | Example | Billed? |
|---|---|---|
| Repeat caller | Same number within the dedupe window | No |
| Out of area | Caller outside your ZIPs | No |
| Wrong service | Asks for a service you don't offer | No |
| Spam | Sales pitch, robocall, silence | No |
| Bot or AI-voice | Synthetic voice, automated dialing | No, and the publisher is removed |
| Incentivized or misled | Caller was paid or tricked into calling | No, and the publisher is removed |
Why AI and bot traffic gets special attention
Synthetic voices and automated calling are cheap now. That creates fake calls that look fine on a dashboard and never become jobs. Our publisher agreements define AI- or bot-generated calls as invalid, include audit rights, and allow payouts to be clawed back for proven fraud.
- AI/bot traffic invalid by contract
- Audit rights over sources
- Recording review on flagged calls
- Number reputation and repeat-device checks
- Clawback for proven fraud
Quality you can listen to
Every billed call comes with a recording.
